Eclectic Eating consists of Mike and Vicki, who enjoy eating many types of food, and love to recommend good places to eat to others. Expect no snobbery here, just a honest look at the places we have meals. Let's look at our backgrounds and how they relate to the food industry.
Vicki is a great cook. We have a daughter who graduated at the top of her class at Le Cordon Bleu, who has said many times that she would trade her culinary education for Vicki's cooking skills. The knowledge of what is good and how to prepare it is in her blood.
I have worked in fast food as well as traditional sit down restaurants, in management as well as working every job in the kitchen. Many kitchens to be truthful.
Simply put, we both know good food. And we know good food from varied ethnic sources, having traveled abroad, eating not only in restaurants but in the homes of some truly great cooks.
